Report: Bears Close To Signing Andy Dalton.

"The legal NFL free agent tampering period opened up on Monday and we saw a flurry of action. Most of the action came from the New England Patriots as they went on a spending spree with their new found cap space.The Chicago Bears meanwhile were pretty quiet actually, silent to be exact as they haven't added anybody yet. However according to one Bears' insider they might be close to landing a quarterback. Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears are close to getting a deal done with free agent QB Andy Dalton. He adds that just because Dalton signs with the Bears, it doesn't mean they would be out with Russell Wilson. It's a story to follow over the coming hours.
