Report: Bears "Prioritizing" Wilson Trade.
"The Chicago Bears continue to make noise when it comes to disgruntled Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and it just seems to be getting realer and realer. We've heard the chatter from various NFL insiders and ESPN reporters but now it comes from a pretty serious source. Longtime Bears' insider Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune has now thrown his hat into the mix as well and confirmed the reports. Biggs confirms that'll require a "massive haul" to get the deal done and we've already heard reports that the Seahawks would like three first round picks. This might not be feasible for the Bears since general manager Ryan Pace is on the final year of his deal and might not get the sign off from upper management. However the Bears do have plenty of roster players they could throw into the mix. Biggs adds that Nick Foles is not an option for starting quarterback next season and Mitch Trubisky is more than likely headed to free agency. The Bears' insider also points out that the Bears are likely the only solution for Seattle as Wilson's other choices simply aren't an option. Dak Prescott is locked to stay in Dallas, Las Vegas continues to be vocal in their support of Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints are in salary cap hell.
