A couple of years back, the NCAA underwent a significant rule change, allowing college athletes to capitalize on their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). This transformation has had a profound impact, as it encourages collegiate athletes to pursue their education instead of immediately transitioning to the professional ranks, where lucrative contracts await.

One of this year's most highly anticipated prospects is Marvin Harrison Jr., a wide receiver from Ohio State and the son of former Indianapolis Colts Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison. Harrison Jr. is fresh off an exceptional season, amassing 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns. While he could easily be a top-five pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit suggests that Harrison might not necessarily declare himself eligible for the draft.

If Harrison were to return for one more year at Ohio State, he would undoubtedly command a substantial income, potentially exceeding $10 million, setting a new record. Nevertheless, entering the NFL Draft would also offer him a significant payday. It's safe to say that no matter what decision he makes in the coming year, Harrison will become a wealthy young man.

Ohio State concluded the season with an 11-1 record but missed out on the BIG Ten Championship Game after a 30-24 loss to Michigan last week. While the Buckeyes still hold a slim chance of making the College Football Playoff, achieving that goal would require a remarkable amount of assistance this weekend.
