"The Chicago Bears seemed like they had a win ready to be served to them on a platter. Lamar Jackson was a last minute OUT for the Baltimore Ravens, however the Ravens were still able to beat the Bears in Chicago with a QB who's never started before and was undrafted after playing at Utah. As if that wasn't embarrassing enough, the full McCaskey group was in attendance to watch head coach Matt Nagy fail once again. The McCaskeys have never fired a coach midseason, however it seems that's about to change. According to former Chicago Sun-Times reporter and current Patch.com reporter, Mark Konkol, Nagy has been told he'll be fired after Thursday's game. "For disgruntled Bears fans looking for something to be thankful for after five straight losses, this is it.Matt Nagy will coach his last game for the Bears on Thanksgiving in Detroit, a top source with knowledge of the decision told Patch.Nagy was informed of his pending post-Turkey Day termination on Monday, the source said.Nagy, hired in 2018, is first Bears coach to be fired mid-season in franchise history."Nagy has put together a 31-27 record since taking over as head coach in 2018 and has 2 playoff losses.
