Report: Sources Tell NFL Insider that Bill Belichick May Sign with a Team Who Has NOT Fired their Head Coach Yet
According to a source, there is an unnamed team that is eyeing to hire Bill Belichick but has yet to fire their head coach:
Many comments under this post believe for the team do be the Cowboys or Eagles. Cowboys seem to be in a good spot with their staff right now, so not so sure about this prediction, but the Eagles? Yes, I see that.
The Eagles are in a weird spot right now, even while being a playoff team. Late this season the whole team seemed to fall apart, and the locker room is divided. If the Eagles are eliminated during Wild Card weekend, then they will most likely be eyeing Belichick.
Also, though the Bears have said that Matt Eberflus is expected to return next season, nothing has been made official, and they can still try and pursue Belichick. The Bears are an old school franchise, something that Belichick responds well to. Though it is looking unlikely now, I won't say it's impossible!
