Robert Griffin III Faces Accusations of "Racism" After Proposing Marshawn Lynch as the Next Head Coach for the Raiders
After the removal of head coach Josh McDaniels and GM Brad Ziegler, the Raiders have decided to have interim head coach Antonio Pierce lead the team for the remainder of the 2023 season.

Griffin stated that the former running back "at least" deserves an interview as the franchise seeks to revive the "Raider Way" of old. He posed the question, "Who says no?" on X.
However, Griffin's proposal did not sit well with many people, and accusations of racism were raised against him. The criticism stemmed from Griffin III's earlier displeasure with the Colts appointing Jeff Saturday as their interim coach, despite Saturday's lack of coaching experience.
Some saw Griffin's endorsement of Lynch, who also lacks coaching experience, as contradictory. Ultimately, Griffin's stance on the Raiders' head coaching vacancy proved to be quite unpopular, leading to a strong reaction from fans.
Both Saturday and Lynch enjoyed successful playing careers but lack significant coaching experience.
