Roster Moves: The Bears are Signing New RB after Several Injuries Reported
After it was revealed that all 3 of the Bears running backs could be missing time with injuries, the Bears have decided to sign former DolphIns RB Darrynton Evans, as reported by Tom Pelissero:
Pelissero also revealed that Bears RB Khalil Herbert is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering an ankle injury during TNF.
The Bears are desperate for a running back, so this signing makes sense.
Evans was drafted by the Titans in 2020 as the teams 3rd round pick. Unfortunately, Evans has struggled with sticking with teams, and has struggled to stay long-term.
Evans was actually a Bear during the 2022 season, but then signed with the Colts this past offseason.
Hopefully this will allow Evans to show off his true potential, and help the Bears win some games.
