Roster Moves: The Bears have Signed Former Vikings & Cowboys Offensive Tackle

As revealed by the team themselves, the Bears have signed recently released OL Aviante Collins back to the team:

After going undrafted in 2017, Collins signed with the Vikings, and stayed with the team until signing a reserve/futures contract with the Steelers in 2021. Collins never got to play for the Steelers, as he was waived a few months later.

After being signed by the Cowboys ahead of the 2021 season, Collins got to play in a few games, including their playoff matchup against the 49ers. Once the season was finished, the Cowboys chose not to re-sign Collins.

This past offseason, the Bears signed, released, and re-signed Collins a couple of times, and after releasing him yesterday, they have decided to re-sign him to the practice squad.
