"While the biggest question surrounding the Chicago Bears continues to be the quarterback situation, they've also got a pretty good question mark beside one of their best players. Allen Robinson. The Bears' wide receiver is set to become an unrestricted free agent on March 17 and we've heard over and over and even from Robinson himself that there's been no offers put on the table for the wide receiver. We've also heard about a possible scenario where the Bears franchise tag Robinson just to trade him but it would likely be hard to pull off considering Robinson would have all the power in that scenario refusing to sign extensions with certain teams. What about the Bears' actually using the franchise tag to just keep Robinson around for one more year?"The franchise tag is an option for us. It doesn't mean we're necessarily going to use that. But we want to keep our good players and Allen (Robinson) is a good player for us.»
