Ryan Poles calls new addition a Prick!
Bears beat writer, Kevin Fishbain had the chance to talk with Ryan Poles about the new players he has brought in so far in Chicago. On this particular quote, he was talking to new interior offensive lineman Lucas Patrick.
«The things he was screaming in the phone after we got a deal done, it kind of showed what he's all about. He's tough, he's a prick and he knows it, and that's how he survives and that's what we need upfront.
Obviously, he meant prick in a good way. He meant that Patrick is a mean player on the field and that is what Poles and HC Eberflus are looking for in their players, especially in the trenches. You can live with a receiver or a cornerback being a little diva sometimes if they are very talented. However, when it comes to big linemen, you need them to be mean and as tough as they come.
Patrick is also a very smart player that has shown his versatility with the Packers so far.
