"While the majority of the season has been a disaster for the Chicago Bears, there's been a couple of bright spots. One bright spot has clearly been Robert Quinn. You could easily argue that he's been the team MVP. It's quite a turn around after last year where you had some fans and journalists calling him another disaster signing by general manager Ryan Pace. However Quinn took the offseason to get healthy and focused and has registered 3 forced fumbles, 17 sacks, 36 solo tackles and 19 QB hits.Defensive coordinator Sean Desai isn't shocked at the turnaround. "The signs are always there with any dynamic player, meaning they go through the preparation and the process the same way," said defensive coordinator Sean Desai. "His approach in the offseason—like I've said repeatedly—has been awesome. His practice habits every day are awesome. His meeting demeanor. He's bought into the way we want to play defense. He's done a tremendous job. All of those signs, when you've got a dynamic player who's got a proven history like that, are there."He's also logged 17 tackles for a loss. "In my opinion, it's one of his best years that he's played as a run defender, certainly as a pass dropper because he hasn't dropped much in his career, and obviously as a pass rusher, you've seen it, one of his best years as well," Desai said. "He's done a tremendous job in all aspects of our defense."
What do you think of Desai's comments?"
