After this was announced, former Bears QB Chase Daniel took to Twitter to share his reaction:

As seen, Daniel is clearly either confused or defeated. It has been known for a while that Daniel is interested in coaching in the NFL, and after spending all year studying and reviewing the Bears/Justin Fields, he and many others thought that he would at least get an interview.

However, Daniel has zero coaching experience, and though he would likely be a great fit with the team, the Bears are more interested in an established coach.
