See Here: Possible Bears & Falcons Trade Scenario is Going Viral on Twitter, Idea of Trading Away Justin Fields is Looming
After ESPN's Mike Greenberg made a reference of Justin Fields on the Falcons, fans have took to Twitter to reveal a possible trade scenario, and are currently debating if this would be good for the Bears:
As seen in the post, this scenario would involve the Bears trading away Fields to the Falcons in exchange for QB Desmond Ritter, as well as 2 draft picks for 2024 and 2025.
After this was posted, fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the possible trade:
As you can see, fans are disagreeing on this trade scenario, as some say "yes" while others say "no."
I personally do not see this as a good trade. Ridder is not going to join the Bears and make them contenders. He is a struggling QB who could very possibly end up as a backup. If they were to make this trade, I would want to see better draft picks and some guys on the o-line, and maybe even a pass rusher or two.
If the Bears trade Fields, they should not get a QB, and rather wait for Caleb Williams to enter the 2024 draft.
