It's widely speculated that Bears QB Justin Fields is on the verge of leaving Chicago, especially as the team holds the number one overall draft pick for the second consecutive season.

A video posted on Tuesday has fueled rumors suggesting that Fields might have received trade news. In the video, Fields is seen celebrating at home, concluding with him saying "Ready to go home" as he exits the frame.

Wouldn't it be quite a narrative if the Georgia native returned to Atlanta to take on a prominent role with the team?

For the second year running, GM Ryan Poles faces the pivotal decision of either retaining Fields and the top pick or trading him away to reset with a new quarterback. Last year, Poles traded down from the first overall pick to the ninth spot, securing a package that included standout receiver D.J. Moore, a 2024 first-round pick, and two second-round picks.

The Atlanta Falcons and the Chicago Bears are dropping hints about a potential blockbuster trade that could bring Georgia native Justin Fields back home. Reports suggest that the Falcons have expressed interest and even initiated discussions with the Bears regarding Fields. Although the extent of these talks remains uncertain, there's speculation that they may resume during the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

In the 2023 season, Fields achieved a career-high of 2,562 passing yards with 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions, completing 61.4% of his passes.
