Notably, among the crowd inside Nissan Stadium that day were not only Titans fans but also a significant contingent of Steelers supporters.
Many Steelers fans purchased tickets with the sole intention of cheering for the Jaguars' defeat, and their strategy paid off. The Jaguars' loss eliminated them from playoff contention and paved the way for the Houston Texans to claim the AFC South title, their first since 2019, as the No. 4 seed in the AFC.
As for the Steelers, their playoff seeding could be either No. 6 or No. 7, depending on the outcome of Sunday night's matchup between the Bills and Dolphins. A victory for the Bills would mean hosting the Steelers in the wild-card round, while a Dolphins win would send the Steelers to Kansas City to face the Chiefs."
