If the Bears opt not to engage in trade talks, Washington plans to secure both a capable quarterback and a star wide receiver. This strategy entails drafting Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. and subsequently offering their No. 36 pick from the second round to the Bears in exchange for Justin Fields.
The Bears have yet to definitively commit to retaining their current starting quarterback.
