The NFL Draft is just one day away, and everybody has their idea of who the Chicago Bears will draft at #8. Millions of mock drafts and speculation later, the experts are usually wrong on who any team takes and that could be the case once again. The majority of mock drafts and draft "experts" have the Bears going after Quenton Nelson or Tremaine Edmunds, however around the NFL it seems to be a different story. Dan Pompeii of the The Athletic got in contact with various scouts and front office people around the league, and neither of those names really appeared on the list. Consensus is that the Bears will go defense with their #8 overall picks and ideal fits are listed as Alabama safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, Florida State safety Derwin James, Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith and Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward. Here's what the experts said about each player:Fitzpatrick"He can do everything" one scout said "He will get everyone lined up. You don't see him out of position. He's a rare football player".James"He's physical, mean, aggressive and explosive" a player personnel director said "He's an alpha male. He is fast and can cover tight ends and backs. I love him"Smith"He's a bulldog, in your face" the college scouting director said "He's hardcore. He finds the ball"Ward"He has a unique ability to lock guys down" the player personnel director said "You can put him on Antonio Brown".Who from this list do you think would be a good fit for the Bears?
