It appears change is finally coming to the disappointing Chicago Bears offensive line. Indeed, according to ESPN 1000 and NBC Sports Chicago's David Kaplan, the Bears are shuffling their offensive line for this week's matchup against the New England Patriots. The biggest change is the benching of center Sam Mustipher in favor of Lucas Patrick.

Mustipher was fine for the first game or so, but he was getting exposed lately, and things really fell apart against the Giants. The Bears signed Patrick to play center, and now there are no excuses, as timing, and the play of Mustipher is not legitimate anymore.

It's obvious that the current configuration isn't working, and QB Justin Fields is now paying the price. It sounds like the coaching staff is finally considering a change. Hopefully, it will yield dividends very soon...
