The Bears have a new football system developer

Daniel Greenberg has reported the Chicago Bears have hired Ryan Hubley to be their football system developer.

Hubley played college football at Johns Hopkins University. He was a good player on the field and an even better student off the field. In fact, Hubley received the Outstanding Leadership in the Department of Sport Management and Leadership Studies Award.

A job like a system developer has become so much more crucial in the NFL in the past few years. With the arrival of new technologies all around the game, guys like Hubley have a bigger impact every single year.

This individual is accountable for estimating, coding, and testing most of the football systems development efforts. This role directly supports the entire Football Operation by developing the next generation of applications that help the Chicago Bears win football games. These applications will help understand everything from next week's opponent to future draft prospects, help visualize how future roster moves will affect the salary cap today and years down the road, and put information at the leaders' fingertips � wherever they may be. An ideal candidate for this role is going to pair their love of Football with their inner passion to create software that makes a difference.
