The Bears have cut an offensive tackle.

The Chicago Bears announced on Friday that they have released OL Tyrone Wheatley Jr.

Wheatley Jr is the son of former NFL running back and current Morgan State head coach Tyrone Wheatley.

He signed with the Chicago Bears on June 17, 2021. Wheatley was waived during final roster cuts but re-signed to the team's practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Bears on January 11, 2022. However, it looks like the duration of this new contract was cut short since he was waived today again...
