The Bears have named their honorary captain for Thursday's game!

Each week, the Bears name a new honorary captain in addition to the 4 season-long captains. Well, this week, Bears HC Matt Eberflus chose WR Darnell Mooney to fill that role.

While Mooney started the season very quietly, he has played his two best games in Weeks 4 and 5. He made many game-changing plays and he was a needed spark in the Bears' passing attack.

Mooney is coming off a 2021 sophomore season during which he caught 81 passes for 1,055 yards and four touchdowns -- all team highs. Hopefully he can continue his hot streak and help his team get back into the winning camp.
