Selected in the third round of the 2014 draft by the Broncos, Schofield played three seasons in Denver, winning a Super Bowl during the 2015 season before being waived during final roster cuts in 2017. He was claimed in September 2017 by the Chargers. He then played for the Panthers and the Ravens as well.
Schofield, 31, is married to U.S. women's hockey forward Kendall Coyne Schofield, who won a gold medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics after beating Canada in the final.
I think bringing in Schofield would be very wise of Gym Ryan Poles and it would help bring in competition for the younger guys. Besides Lucas Patrick and Cody Whitehair, I don't expect any player to be locks for a starting spot!
