The Chicago Bears have released a QB!

Daniel Greenberg reported yesterday night that the Chicago Bears have waived QB Ryan Willis.

In fact, Chicago announced the signing of quarterback Nate Peterman on Wednesday afternoon. And in the same announcement, the Bears also noted they've waived QB Ryan Willis as a corresponding roster move. This means that the Bears are sticking with only 3 Qbs on the roster:

1. Justin Fields

2. Trevor Siemian

3. Nathan Peterman

As for Willis, he had been with Chicago since last December when he signed on with the club's practice squad. He was then elevated to the active roster for one game.

He was not a bad player at all and I fully expect him to find in way onto another roster very soon...
