This Bears' wide receiver has to step up big time!
We are far enough into the season now that I think we can begin to take a critical look at how this young team has done so far. Fields has excelled in some areas and slipped in others, same with the line and receivers. With the more than probable odds of a losing season, let's take a look at five Bears players that need to step it up.
Byron Pringle
Coming off a solid year with the Chiefs, we all thought Pringle would light things up a bit once he got here. I had a good feeling about him and not to say that I was wrong but he definitely has not performed this season.
After missing weeks 4 through 9, he hasn't had the impact that we all anticipated. His best game this season was in week 1 where he caught one of two targets for 22 yards. In week 11 he had no targets and in weeks 3 and 10 combined he had two catches on three targets for 22 yards. Hardly the guy that deserves 4.125 million for one season's work. He has six weeks to prove we need him going into next year.
