GM Ryan Poles took a lot of heat from people in the media for drafting two defensive players with his first two selections in the 2022 draft (CB Kyler Gordon and S Jaquan Brisker).

While the Bears did have some glaring holes on the offensive side of the ball, they also had many problems in the secondary. I think that both Gordon and Brisker could help fix those issues from Day 1.
