This is why Roquan Smith deserves to be paid!

The Chicago Bears weren't able to reach an agreement with Roquan Smith on a new contract extension. However, the superstar linebacker still chose to play the 2022 season on the final year of his rookie contract.

Well, it looks like he made his case to be one of the highest-paid players at his position against the Texans on Sunday. Smith played an amazing game and he showed why he is so valuable to the Bears, especially in Matt Eberflus' new scheme. He piled up the stat sheet against Houston. Indeed, he amassed 16 tackles, two tackles for a loss, and a game-sealing interception.
