This team is hosting Bears' offensive lineman for a visit
Field Yates reported that the Falcons have hosted Germain Ifedi for a visit. Ifedi spent the last 2 years in Chicago where he started all 16 games in 2020. He only appeared in 9 games in 2021 due to a knee injury.
It appears that former Bears' GM Ryan Pace wants to reunite with a lot of his former players. Ifedi would join Damien Williams and Teez Tabor who have already followed Pace in Atlanta.
He only allowed 2 sacks in 2020 while playing 1066 offensive snaps. He wasn't able to stay healthy in 2021 and is now due to a new contract. He graded at 65 in 2020 (per Pro Football Focus) and at 61.8 in 2021. Those are not very good grades, to say the least. We can factor in that he was playing on a very bad O-line but it still doesn't prove he can play consistently good football.
