This young Bears WR is taking full advantage of the opportunities ahead of him
At some point this week, the Bears had at least 20 players not participating in practice, including Velus Jones Jr., Byron Pringle, N'Keal Harry, Dante Pettis, David Moore, Cole Kmet, Ryan Griffin, and David Montgomery.
That said, QB Justin Fields operated the Bears' offense with Darnell Mooney, Equanimeous St. Brown, and a host of the second-team offense, with receiver Isaiah Coulter and running back Trestan Ebner seeing a lot of work with the first team.
As for Coulter, he made the most of his opportunity to play with the ones.
On Wednesday, During the first 11-on-11 period of the day, the offense faced a third-and- 6 Coulter had a great release off the line against cornerback Lamar Jackson and Fields hit him for a gain of 27 on an in-breaking route to give the offense the win for the series.

At the end of practice, Coulter also made the catch of the day.
Here it is:
Coulter was very glad to have the opportunity to showcase what he can do.
"It being in the middle of the camp, second week going into the first preseason game and your body a little tired, so you kind of got to dig deep," Coulter said. "So it was a great play confidence-wise, and just having that weight on your shoulders, just trying to make a play at the end of practice to end the practice strong, it was great."
Coulter mentioned that he train very hard this off-season, spending a lot of time with fellow WR Darnell with Mooney. The pair have grown to be close friends since Coulter arrived in Chicago last August.
"We kind of have the same personality. We're not too loud, just reserved kind of guys and just about our work," Coulter said. "We just want to be great. I see the things that he does on the field day-in and day-out, so kudos to him and I look up to him in that way. So, I'm just trying to pick his brain and get better, talk to him on and off the field."
