With the NFL Draft looming nearer every day you can't help but fantasize about all the new players heading to Chicago this year. It's essentially Christmas time for football fans, where we wonder what papa Goodell has in his sleigh this year. In the meantime, I have compiled a list of the top five fictional players I would love to see play for the Bears.
Rod Tidwell (Jerry Maguire)Rod is literally Poles wet dream player, a career-long underachiever who has a moment of self-realization that turns him into a key asset in the nick of time. Although Poles would be a little apprehensive to show him the money, I think Poles would lock him down as a good veteran to teach the young guys while giving him one more shot at glory.
Cappie Roew (Lucas) If there is one thing Poles loves, it's a player who can do more than one thing well, Cappie would be his man. Cappie was an all-around performer at an above-average prep school in Chicago. His big man on campus status with a heart of gold would lead him to be a great leader on and off the field for the Bears
Brian Riley (All the Right Moves)As an all-star linebacker who plays like his life depends on it Riley would be a key asset to revitalizing the smashmouth defense. With a 2.0 GPA, he may not be the brightest bulb but you don't have to be bright when you're a literal Monster of the Midway.
Andre Krimm (Necessary Roughness)I mean do I need to say more? My man was a tank of a lineman for Texas State. Running either side of the scrimmage he held his own and then on some, as a vegetarian no less. He would be a key part of the offensive line and would probably get some reps in on defense, in between the mauling of heads of lettuce from the sidelines.
Bobby Boucher Jr. (The Waterboy)I stand by my choice, Bobby would light up the defense in ways we haven't seen since the 80s. The stud linebacker from South Central Louisiana University Mud Dogs is a force to be reckoned with. Get this man an earset where we can trash talk his mama directly into the helmet and there wouldn't be a single point scored on us all year. Also yes it was hard to choose between him and Forrest.
What do you think? Which fictional player would you love to see on the Bears? Also, I am dying to make another list because some guys deserved to be on here like Forrest Gump and Al Bundy so if you would like a part two make sure to comment and let me know!
