Top Offensive Lineman NFL Draft Pick Exposed In Cheating Scandal While Being Engaged
Richard Gouraige, a former standout offensive lineman for the Florida Gators, has made the decision to pursue a career in the NFL. However, his transition to the professional leagues has been marred by controversy surrounding his conduct on social media.
Recently, an individual on Instagram accused Gouraige of trying to engage in an inappropriate relationship despite being in a committed relationship and being engaged. Subsequently, several individuals came forward claiming that his account had been hacked. The accuser has since deleted all related tweets.
Despite the controversy, Gouraige is moving forward with his plans to enter the 2023 NFL Draft after announcing his decision to forego his remaining college eligibility in December. Throughout his five seasons with the Florida Gators, he appeared in 50 games and was known for his impressive performance on the field. He was a consistent performer, allowing a career low of one sack in 2022 and recording a career-high run-blocking grade of 65.9. In addition, he graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in sociology in the spring of 2022.
