"NFL free agency has begun as the «legal tampering» period started this morning. Although teams cannot officially announce any deals until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, contract talks can now begin and many deals will be made and then leaked over the next day or two. The Chicago Bears expect to be big players on the free agent market as not only do they have a ton needs, but they also have a lot of money to spend. The Bears have about $64.5 million in salary cap space to work with, with is the sixth most in the league. They will need much of that cash as they have holes at wide receiver, offensive line, tight end, defensive line and secondary to fill.
