Trade Sparks Significant Surge in Bears' Super Bowl Betting Odds
On Friday, the Chicago Bears shook up the NFL landscape by trading away their coveted No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft to the Carolina Panthers. In exchange for the top selection, the Bears received the No. 9 pick, No. 61, a 2024 first-rounder, a 2025 second-round pick, and star wide receiver D.J. Moore.
While the long-term implications of this blockbuster trade won't be known for years, the immediate reaction from bookmakers in Las Vegas was to adjust the Bears' Super Bowl odds on PointsBet. Prior to the trade, the Bears were listed at +7500, but following the move, their odds improved to +5000.
