Uche was drafted by the Patriots in 2020 as the teams 2nd round selection.
His first 2 years started off slow, as injures kept him off the field. However, he had his breakout year last season, recording 11.5 sacks in 15 games with 0 starts. These stats prove that he will only continue to improve.
With Uche's rookie contract expiring after the 2023 season, the Patriots may want to trade him away for players or picks, and the Bears should consider making an offer.
The Bears are still in need of linebackers, and can most likely trade away something not too valuable, like a 5th or 6th round pick. This would add depth to the LB spot, and bring in a young player who is still growing.
