It's been a really tough season for Chicago Bears tight end Trey Burton and it continues. On Monday morning Bears' head coach Matt Nagy announced that Burton is dealing with an injury. "Trey Burton isn't at 100%. He is giving it all he has and thats just where we are at." Nagy confirmed that Burton is dealing with a calf injury and you have to wonder if it just makes more sense to put him on IR at this point. JJ Stankevitz of NBC Sports Chicago points out that Burton "does not have a reception in consecutive games for the first time since the end of the 2015 season, when he was almost exclusively a special teamer for the Philadelphia Eagles."With Adam Shaheen being a non factor, hopefully Ben Braunecker can really step up to the plate.
