Two NFL Heavyweights Have Expressed a lot of Interest Free Agent LB Bobby Wagner

The Los Angeles Rams have once again sent a big name to the free agent market, releasing linebacker Bobby Wagner due to salary cap constraints. Wagner, a future Hall of Famer, has quickly drawn interest from several NFL teams, including the Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and even his former team, the Seattle Seahawks.
Wagner spent the first decade of his NFL career with the Seahawks, earning eight Pro Bowl selections and helping the team win Super Bowl 48. After being released by Seattle last offseason, he signed with the Rams and had a productive season. However, the Rams have decided to make significant changes after a disappointing 5-12 record, also releasing standout linebacker Leonard Floyd and expected to trade away All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
The Cowboys and Chargers are both playoff-caliber teams that could benefit from adding a veteran presence like Wagner to their defense. Dallas finished the 2022 season with a 12-5 record and made it to the Divisional Round of the playoffs, while the Chargers had a 10-7 record and fell in the Wild Card Round.
It remains to be seen where Wagner will ultimately end up, but with interest from multiple teams, he is sure to have a few options.
