Though it was revealed that Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson wants out of Chicago, it is now being announced that the Bears will likely not be trading him:

It looks like that because this was a late request, the Bears do not have enough time to find a good trade in exchange for Johnson.

With this new update, it is likely that if the Bears truly want Johnson on their team after 2023, then they will need to offer a large contract extension, or else he will be leaving Chicago.
