Very productive Bears linebacker has a new home!

According to NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler, the Philadelphia Eagles have inked a contract with linebacker Nicholas Morrow. This acquisition is not a surprise as the Eagles tend to look for affordable and dependable linebackers, a description that fits Morrow perfectly. Interestingly, Morrow will compete to fill the spot of T.J. Edwards, who is leaving for Chicago to replace Morrow.

Morrow began his NFL journey in 2017 when he signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent. After playing out his rookie contract worth $1.66 million for three years, Morrow signed a one-year restricted tender for $3.27 million in 2020. Although the Las Vegas team re-signed him for the 2021 season, he missed the entire year due to a foot injury. However, he bounced back in 2022 and played all 17 games for the Bears, recording impressive stats with 116 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, one interception, and two pass defenses.
