VIDEO: Former Bears RB Tarik Cohen Opens up about his Recovery and his Hopes of Re-Joining the NFL in New Interview
After former Bears RB Tarik Cohen announced that he was eyeing an NFL return, Bears fans all over the world were excited to see him possibly returning to the league, as his time in Chicago was special.
During today's episode of NFL Network's "Good Morning Football," Cohen made an appearance and spoke out about his health and recovery. Watch the clip here:
As you can see in the video, Cohen is feeling great and ready for a comeback. He has since heald all of his injuries and his mind is in the right place, as when he was injured, Cohen mentioned how it put him in a bad place:
Cohen then explains how it was a "blessing in disguise" as he was able to "reset" his body as he finally had 2 years off of the game he has been playing his whole life.
As most Bears fans remember, Cohen was a superstar when he was healthy with the team. In 2018, he was a Pro Bowler and was named as a First-Team All-Pro. He was one of the most exciting players in the league, and he believes he can be that again...
During the interview, NFL Network's Peter Schrager asked Cohen if he can see himself coming back to the NFL like his 2018 self. Cohen answered by saying:
Cohen explains to the panel how he is 100% ready to be back in the NFL, and sees himself returning like his old All-Pro self.
