The court records show the warrant, charges Thomas with a third-degree felony for at least two violations within 12 months of a protective order from May 2021 that stated he could only communicate with the woman through a co-parenting phone app, according to the paper. However, the woman told the police that Thomas refuses to download and use the application and instead reaches out to her by phone, and arrives unannounced at places she frequents.
The warrant was issued just days after Thomas, a seven-time Pro Bowl safety, told an ESPN reporter on April 22 that he hopes to return to the NFL. Thomas, 32, has not played since 2020 when the Ravens cut him after he punched a teammate during a practice.
Not a great look for Thomas. I think we can say that this will probably tarnish his reputation and he will have a lot of work to do if he wants to get back in the NFL anytime soon...
