With the way this season is looking, it looks like the Panthers will be finishing with the worst record in the NFL, meaning the Bears are likely to secure the number 1 draft pick for 2024.
With this draft coming in just a few months, there has been lots of talk regarding who the Bears will pick, with many analysts believing the team will draft a QB and trade away Justin Fields.
With these rumors spreading around the league, Bears CB Jaylon Johnson joined the conversation, and spoke about these discussions regarding his teammate:
Similar to what his teammates are saying, Johnson sees Fields as the Bears' "guy." Johnson has respect for his teammate, and sees him as being a true leader.
However, Johnson did point out how most of the time, teams will draft a QB with the first pick, especially because Fields is not having that great of a year.
Johnson seems to be all in on Fields, but understands that the team may decide to take this organization in a different direction.
