According to insider Ian Rapoport, "the evaluation starts now for Fields," meaning, he has to prove himself worthy of being the starting QB, or else, the Bears may draft his replacement:

Rapoport then mentions that the Bears will need to be "blown away" by the current prospects to draft a QB, and if they are, then Fields may not be in Chicago for the 2024 season.
