WATCH: Kyle Brandt Hilariously Recaps Bears Best Play from their Win against the Lions, Names his Rookie of the Year (Video)
Man, how can you not love Kyle Brandt?
During Brandt's weekly addition of "Angry Runs" on GMFB, he made sure to give a special shoutout to Bears rookie OT Darnell Wright for his "play of the game" against the Lions in the teams 28-13 win:
As heard, in a hilarious way, Brandt sees Wright's fumble recovery as the play of the game, and even calls him is Rookie of the Year:
"This is my favorite play by a rookie all year! Stroud, Puka - (pointing towards Wright) that's my Rookie of the Year!"
Most of the time, if the offensive team is lucky enough to recover their own fumble, then a player will usually just fall on top of the ball. Well, Wright decided to get a bit more athletic with it, and tried to run with it, and even trucked a Lions defender!
Though he got nowhere with the ball, he still made sure to protect it with all of his strength.
Wright is certainly "our" Rookie of the Year!
