Former Dallas Cowboys star Michael Irvin has taken legal action against Marriott after being sent home from Super Bowl coverage last month following an alleged incident with a hotel employee. Marriott claimed that Irvin touched the employee's arm without consent and made her visibly uncomfortable by asking if she knew anything about "having a big Black man inside of [her]." Irvin has denied any wrongdoing in the case and has re-filed the lawsuit in Arizona.

On Tuesday, Irvin's attorneys released surveillance video footage from the Phoenix hotel lobby where the incident occurred, contradicting the allegations made by Marriott. In the video, Irvin can be seen interacting with the employee, but the encounter appears to be cordial and friendly.

The release of the video comes after Marriott's attorneys accused Irvin of inappropriate behavior and attempted to paint a negative image of him in the case. However, Irvin's legal team hopes that the video evidence will prove his innocence and clear his name.

Despite moving the lawsuit to Arizona, Irvin is not dropping the case and is determined to fight for his reputation. The case has garnered significant media attention, and Irvin's legal team believes that the video evidence will help to set the record straight.
