Though the Bears did secure a win on TNF, this season is not going anywhere.
As revealed by top TV personality Stephen A Smith, he believes that Bears QB Justin Fields "should not want to play another game" this season and the Bears should continue to play Tyson Bagent:
This Bears team is certainly not good, as explained by Smith. The organization is a mess right now and Fields is likely hoping to be traded away.
Smith believes that the Jets could be a possible trade destination, as with Rodgers still hurt and likely near the end of his career, they need another QB other than Zach Wilson.
Fields would thrive with the Jets, as they have solid receivers and a great coach.
I agree with Smith on this take, only if the Bears do not fire Eberflus and Getsy after the season. If the team decides to stick with them, then they will only be wasting Fields' career.
