Who was the Steal from Free Agency? Many Believe it's this Bears Linebacker

Right now, many fans around the NFL are saying that one player in particular was the "steal" of free agency:

As seen from all of those tweets, it looks like fan's believe that former Eagles linebacker TJ Edwards is the steal!

Edwards entered the NFL back in 2018, but was undrafted. He then signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent. He was a solid player during his time in Philadelphia, but was not seen as a star.

The Bears signed Edwards in March of this past offseason on a 3-year $19.5 million deal. Edwards was happy to come to the Bears as he was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.

Since joining the Bears, this defense has looked its very best in years, and Edwards plays a huge role in this.

So far this season, Edwards has a total of 145 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, and 7 pass deflections.

Edwards is having himself a career year, and is looking to be one of the best LBs in the NFL right now.

He deserves to be named as a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro this season! He is a true star and the Bears are lucky to have him!
