Lewis was drafted back in 2006, and spent the majority of his career playing for the Jaguars. After 12 seasons in Jacksonville, Lewis was released. Two months after being released, Lewis signed with the Packers, where he was a member of the team until now.
Lewis is going into his 18th season in the NFL, and is looking for a ring. He is a former Pro Bowler and Second-Team All-Pro, and the vet wants to win.
The reason why this signing could be a free agency steal, is due to Lewis' blocking skills. He is a solid catching tight end, but his blocking is what makes him stick out.
