When looking at the edge rushers who are still free agents, many big names come to mind; Jadeveon Clowney, Melvin Ingram, and Yannick Ngakoue are just to name a few, but the Bears may be more interested with a familiar face.
Former Chicago Bears DE Robert Quinn is currently a free agent, and may want to return to the place he once called home.
Quinn was a first round draft pick back in 2011, and has spent most of his career with the Rams. He then found his way onto new teams, such as the Dolphins, Cowboys, Bears, and Eagles.
During his short time in Chicago, Quinn put up some unreal stats, with 18.5 sacks in 1 season, along with 4 forced fumbles, in 2021. After being traded to the Eagles in 2022, Quinn's performance declined, but injuries were to blame.
Now, all healed up, Quinn is ready to get back on the field, and the Bears should sign him. He is still capable of putting up those amazing stats, so the Bears should not look past him.
Quinn is a 3-time Pro Bowler, a First-Team All-Pro, and was the 2014 NFL forced fumbles co-leader. He is a vet with a lot of knowledge for the young guys, and is overall someone the Bears need.
