Micah Parsons, a famous linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, doesn't like how people are treating Stroud. He thinks it's like what happened to another former Ohio State quarterback, Justin Fields. Fields was picked 11th by the Chicago Bears in the 2021 draft.
Despite an initially slow start to his professional career, Fields has emerged as a formidable offensive force. He made history by setting the record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a regular-season game during a Week 9 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
If Stroud can follow in the footsteps of his Ohio State forerunner, he has the potential for a bright and successful NFL career. In his two seasons as the Buckeyes' starting quarterback, Stroud amassed an impressive 85 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions. Any team that selects Stroud in the draft will be securing a valuable franchise cornerstone to build their future around.
Stroud is very good at throwing the ball. No matter where on the field or how far, he hardly ever misses. You will usually see him throw the ball perfectly, to the right person, in the right place, and at the right time.
Of course, Stroud has had some help. He has played with at least two really good NFL receivers most of the time. One of them is Marvin Harrison Jr., who might be one of the best wide receiver prospects in a long time. This helps Stroud's throwing because his teammates don't often drop the ball. Some of this is because of Stroud, and some because his teammates are also good. But it doesn't change the fact that Stroud is the most accurate quarterback in this group.
