Caleb Williams shakey during second day of training camp, but there is hope
Caleb Williams has a ton of expectations being thrust upon him thanks to the fact that he was the number one overall pick in the draft.
There are many out there who believe that Williams is a "generational talent." However, there are going to be some growing pains along the way. For instance, Mark Carman was at the Day 2 of Bears training camp, and he saw a few sides of Williams. For instance, there were times when he was able to make some elite throws. However, the defense proved to be overwhelming at times as Williams made key mistakes. Simply put, the Bears' defense had him playing shakey and inconsistent.
1- D remains ahead of the O. Tyrique Stevenson sweet pick of Caleb who held the ball too long.
2- Caleb ability to make elite throws showed on beauty down left sidelines to Tyler Scott.
3- Lot of dump offs to the backs middle of the field."
Of course, this is only Day 2 and things can quickly change. After all, you need to get adjusted to the pace of the play. It is also worth mentioning that the Bears' defense has been together for longer than the Bears' offense. Either way, Williams' development will continue to be a key story to watch.
