As reported this morning, the Chicago Bears are planning on making a change with their running back situation, likely giving RB Roschon Johnson more playing time:

After the Bears' loss to the Colts last weekend, many fans, analysts, and reporters noted how sloppy starting RB D'Andre Swift played. A video even went viral of someone explaining all of the mistakes Swift made, saying that he was "hilariously bad:"

Swift finished that game with 13 carries for only 20 yards. This performance was disappointing and not what anyone expects from the 2023 Pro Bowler. Not to mention, the Bears are paying him $24 million for a 3-year deal, and so far, this is looking like a mistake.

Swift was seen as a top player while on the Eagles last season, so Bears fans are definitely not too pleased with his performances in the past 3 games. Everyone expects more, but maybe a switch could do some good for both Swift and the Bears.

Now, ahead of the Bears' matchup against the Rams, the team is expected to place Johnson, who was drafted as their 4th-round pick in 2023, as the starting RB for the game.

Johnson appeared a bit in the Bears' loss last weekend, where he ran for 30 yards on 8 carries. Definitely better then what we saw from Swift, so a switch to Johnson seems to make the most sense.

The Bears will be playing in the early afternoon games this weekend and are hopeful on getting the win over a hot Rams team.
